Birthday Girl...

I met this little cutie (and mom & dad) this time last year when she was turning 2.  I can't believe it has already been a year!  Time flies when you are having fun.  Miss M was VERY agreeable for this session, so there are several for the sneak peek.  This was my first family session in an urban type environment.  I typically do seniors downtown, and was very excited when Mom chose this style for this session.  Thank you all for a fun morning!  It was so great to see you again.

And in case you were wondering, I am THIS much fun!! hahaha (more like daddy is funny!)
This one is one of the first images......I asked her to stand there and this is what I got........PERFECTION!  I love her sass!  (I have NO idea where she gets it from *snicker*).

And last but not least........little MK doing the NKP pledge.  "I MK, promise to take the best images I can!"  Isn't she cute!  I don't even remember her doing this!?!?

Thanks again!  I hope MK has the best 3rd birthday EVER!!

This little angel just turned one!  What a fun age......I absolutely adore 1 year olds.  I love their chubby legs, their sense of adventure, their short attention spans, and their toothy grins.

warning........photo overload....

I am getting ahead of the game this year with my senior spokesmodels.  I want my reps to have to have an entire year to brag and show off their fabulous senior images.  This young lady and her boyfriend met me at a super cool location for over two hours of fun! :)  These two were hilarious, a joy to photograph, and definitely knew how to work the camera.  Think American Pie and Road Trip when you view the photos of this young man....

This young man's mom called me as she wanted to capture photos of him for graduation......he recently graduated from college!  What an accompliment.  It seemed like just yesterday that I graduated from college (and my parents would argue it was!).  Congrats Paul!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

and saving the best for last...check out his shirt!  That takes me back a decade....gosh, I am really showing my age now!  If you do not know who his shirt refers, then you are WAY old!!  hahaha :)

 

Saving the best for last...

This family is one of the families I photographed in CO.  This mom is one of my best friends from grade school......it is amazing to think we are now mommies!  Thanks Michelle for having me while in town.  I enjoyed visiting with you and your sweet family.

I love the reflection in this shot.  I have to give credit where credit is due...this was the dad's idea to to this shot....however, I think the reflection was an added bonus!

Pink Axle

Throughout the past few months, NKP has been photographing these adorable hats from Pink Axle.  As I was reviewing the images I had captured, I realized I didn't have any images of older children sporting the cute beanie.  That left me with only one option.......bribe my oldest for a mini session in the back yard.  She willingly obliged but ONLY after she got to sport this new tutu.  These hats can be purchased through their website http://www.pinkaxle.com/.   Be sure and tell them you saw them on our blog!

One of my baby planners...

This little cutie is currently on a baby plan with NKP.  I have enjoyed watching him grow and transform into a little man.  I just love his sweet eyes and chubby cheeks.  It was his 9 month birthday the day of this session.......9 months is such a fun age to photograph.  Thanks guys and I look forward to seeing you all in November....if not sooner. :)
